A Survivor's Journey
Our founder, Meredith Gordon, who is a survivor of various forms of trauma, including domestic violence, verbal and emotional abuse, family dysfunction, addiction, and sexual assault, brings a unique perspective to our work. Having overcome personal struggles, including alcohol addiction, our founder understands firsthand the complexities of these experiences and their impact on individuals and communities. It is an honor for us to share our survivor story and use it as a source of strength and inspiration for others.

Our understanding of the underlying causes behind the calls that burden our 9-1-1 system comes from a combination of professional training and personal experience. Meredith Gordon has a unique understanding of the deep-rooted issues that can lead individuals and communities to crisis.
